"Host made us very welcome even though we did arrive earlier than we should have done. Room spotless homely and comfortable, particularly attention to detail noted. Would certainly stay again and recomend to others." - Jeanette January 2012

A nice warm & friendly guesthouse - "We found the Colebrook guesthouse to be a charming and friendly stay, we all had a nice clean & comfortable room, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I thought the customer service was excellent. With breakfast thrown in too this was really good value for money and I would recommend this place to anyone" - N Brend December 2011

Great Value for money! - "Lovely guesthouse with tastefully decorated, spacious rooms. Breakfasts where delicious" - G Roberts November 2011

Great stay near Fanborough - "Booked the Colebrook for two nights as we were attending a seminar on the Saturday at Sandhurst; the previous reviews of the place had helped "sell" it & we weren't disappointed. Warm welcome, comfortable bed & excellent breakfast.  The room was slightly small, but to be honest, all we were using it for was sleeping in & as you had bed, TV, & en suite, didn't actually need any more. Breakfast was excellent (hot, tasty & plentiful) & owner Dudley even cooked it slightly early for us on Saturday to allow us plenty of time to get to RMA Sandhurst. Excellent welcome & stay & would happily visit again." - C Foster November 2011

"Upon entry to guesthouse, great service, very clean and welcoming. Room was very clean, free wifi, good all round. No bar, local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Would use again if in the area. "- W Proud October 2011

"Loathed to say how good this really was as it will become inundated & I will find it difficult to stay there again! All joking aside, really great to find English B and B at it's best and English people running the place. Really quiet area, plenty of room (how much room do you really need!) high standard of cleanliness and presentation. More than enough supplies of tea/coffee etc, not just one of each!! Another strange fact, the guests I met at breakfast, also spoke too! Altogether a very refreshing change from the foreigner owned and run establishements and 'plastic-Inny-Lodges'. I would not hesitate in returning or recommending the Colebrook. Full English breakfast was just that. Excellent."- D Garnett September 2011

"The bedroom was spacious but the bathroom was crowded - the basin being a small hand basin. The food was delicious and very hot. The service was very good to say it was their first day at work. Unfortunately there wasn't much parking space "- B Dalton September 2011

"Clean, tidy, quiet, big flat screen TV, Wi Fi., Good breakfast. All one needs for a night stop. "- Angus H August 2011

"We had a twin room, which although small, was perfectly adequate and kept very clean. It had a decent flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi is available. A really nice facility is offered whereby if you wish to bring in a takeaway with, say, a bottle of wine for a supper, you can use all the facilities of the breakfast room, free of charge, until 9.00 pm; which is much better than having to use your bedroom for eating. Dudley, the proprietor, is jovial but courteous, and we would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone looking for value for money accomodation in this area."- Hugh S August 2011
